Duties & Responsibilities

As a Tax and Accounting Associate at Business Process Outsource Accounting Services, my scope of work includes supporting UAE VAT compliance through the preparation and filing of VAT returns in accordance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations. My responsibilities involve preparing and reviewing VAT working papers, including output VAT, sales, purchases, accounts receivable, accounts payable, advances, and general ledger accounts. I also perform financial account reconciliations, review accounting records for accuracy and completeness, identify discrepancies, and assist in ensuring compliance with applicable UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations. Through these responsibilities, I contribute to accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and the timely fulfilment of tax and accounting obligations.
